Today a singer came to work on 2 of her songs at my house. We created the final formats, rehearsed and recorded them. Things went so well that we worked on a 3rd song. It was good to see her excited about her creations and how they have come to life. She is beginning to believe what I have known for a while, that she is talented and has something significant to say. The next step is to mix the songs and then give them to a drummer. I will rehearse with him playing bass to the tracks and then work with a sound engineer to create the foundational tracks to build the songs on. Here we are working on the first song called “Growing Me”. Kind of appropriate for a first single.
